Mosasaur teeth--one more time



  Just a quick note before the big odometer clicks over. About a month or two 
ago there was a thread about mosasaurs and shellfish/turtle predation. I 
mentioned a new specimen of Prognathodon with some amazing stout teeth and 
heavy-duty jaws. Mike Everhart has placed a photo of this specimen at his 
website, Oceans of Kansas. It's at:

  It took about 3 years to clean away the surrounding concretion with an an 
airscribe. The scale is 10 cm or about 4".
