Oceans of South Dakota

  Mike Everhart has just put up a new feature at Oceans of Kansas about the 
marine reptiles at the Museum of Geology at the South Dakota School of Mines 
and Technology in Rapid City, South Dakota. Lots of pictures of really superb 
specimens. At the end of the section is a link to the summer field classes 
the Museum offers. Please check them out. They are less expensive than many 
of the other venues and there are many exciting specimens awaiting 
excavation. Recent fieldwork has included juvenile Allosaurus specimens, the 
first US Hainosaurus- the monster mosasaur, and Hell Creek dinosaurs with
