Re: Fw: Dinamations Exhibit
To answer Larry:
The name shown WAS _Architeuthis_ (no species name shown, as I recall
it). I didn't write the name down, and it was nearly 5:00 AM when I wrote
my message about the exhibit.
The squid (which appeared to be about 12-16 feet long) was wrapped
around one of the eels, and 2 other eels seemed to be disturbed from their
mutual resting/hiding place (a big rock-like structure with several large
hole in it. The eels appeared to be very large. Probably another
exaggeration on Dinamation's part.
I only had 20 minutes to run through the entire mall to see the
animations. If they had any on the upper level, I missed it. (Dan V.,
you're close enough to have gone to the exhibit, did you see it?). In
addition to the animations, you could get your picture taken with a
full-size sculpture of the front third of a killer whale (for only $9.95).
