Do the kinds of dermal
armor shown on ankylosaurs suggest determinate growth?

Well, alligators and crocs have indeterminate growth, and both of them have scutes which could maybe be considered "armor." Beyond that, I dunno. Since their limbs appear to be like other dinos, i.e., the distal ends do not have completely ossified epiphyses, my guess would be they were indeterminate growers. Dr. Jim Kirkland or Dr. Ken Carpenter might be folks to ask about these sorts of questions as they deal with armored dinosaurs on a regular basis. If they're reading this list, maybe they could throw in their armored two cents?
