Hey Gang - Managed to obtain a copy of the field trip guidebook for the
4th field conference of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology from a
used book dealer recently. It is from 1950 and is a meeting I would have
died to go to, except I was -3 years old at the time. It took place in
Northwestern New Mexico and has field trips guided by the following:

In Upper Paleozoic rocks of the region by A.S. Romer

in the local Cenozoic formations by G.G. Simpson

And in the Mesozoic units, including Ghost Ranch, by E.H. Colbert.

Sigh...
