One for the bird brigade
What bird still aalive today is considered to be the closest kin to
Archaepteryx still alive today? Surely it is not the Grebe, is it?
If not, and I assume not, what is?
Or is the whole question a total red herring?
Problem is that I know very little about birds except that they
periodically make me bring my car to the car-wash (little bast*rds),
but need an answer asap.
Hoping that his bird griping (grebing?) has not burned too many
feathery bridges,
