Typically, I have to question why you would think _Tyrannosaurus_ would
follow *either* model, since it's a *dinosaur*, not a *mammal*. (And
yes, I know you used the word "potential".) Still, it's unwise to
attempt to draw behavioral parallels between totally-unrelated forms. If
anything, _Tyrannosaurus_ exhibited "social interaction" similar
(*similar*, not *identical*) to birds or crocs. Certainly not mammals.
