In response to Peter's request, I can tell everyone that this specimen DOES
exist, but that it is a phoney, according to a presentation given by Padian
at the SVP this year.  He showed a slide of the specimen and clearly noted
that "membrane impression" was faked by some person who wanted "proof" of the
narrow-winged theory.  Other specimens of Rhamphorynchus, and all pterosaurs
in general, support the broad-winged setup.
