The reason for this is the improbability of something small enough to
come out of an egg being able to grow up to be something being large
enough to be a sauropod within its own lifetime. The larger offspring
that live-bearing would be able to produce would make this less
problematic.
In either case, a very rapid metabolism would be required to allow a
sauropod to 'grow up'. Therefore, ironically, the dinosaurs that most
of the flat-earther palaeontologists consider to be the strongest
evidence for cold-bloodedness are probably some of the strongest
evidence against!
