Dear Darren;
Thank you for another of your interesting postings.
You may wish to read "A new species of Varanus (reptilia: Sauria) from the
Miocene of Kenya" by Lynne M. Clos, Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology, June
1995. 'Phylogenetic Relationships with the Varanidae' are included therein.
Lynne also wrote a 'popular' version for Fossil News - Journal of Amateur
Paleontology: August, 1995.
