Juvenile tyrannosaur teeth

Every once in awhile one can use this list to do something useful. 

In their recent paper in EVOLUTIONARY CHANGE & HETEROCHRONY 1995, J. Long &
K. McNamara cited my observation in Predatory Dinos World that the American
Museum, medium sized Albertosaurus sternbergi teeth were as long as in bigger
Albertosaurus libratus specimens. A year ago, when the AMNH dino halls were
being revised and the glass covers were off of the skeletons, I had a chance
to climb a ladder and see the teeth close up. It turns out that the teeth had
dropped part of the way out of their sockets, exaggerating the length of the
teeth. This remoives the only barrier I know of to A. sternbergi being a
juvenile of A. libratus.
