I like [ark-high-OHP-te-ru"ks] (u" = German umlaut u), myself, but I 
don't think I'm going to convince many people...

Then again, maybe it's [ark-high-oh-PTE-ru"ks].  I just gotta find me a 
good Greek dictionary...
