I think the query about the "neurapophysis" probably meant the neurohypothesis.
This is the name given to the posterior part of the pitutary gland. It is
important becasue it is one of thos palces where the nervous system can
communicate direclty with the endocrine system, Cells in this area produce
hormones which, inturn influence the internal state of the body.
