Research seems to indicate that elephants like most other large herbivores
are color blind and see only in black and white or shades of gray. Likewise,
their predatory counterparts also are color blind. Contrast this with color
vision in birds and aparently in present day reptiles and ergo you have at
least the possibility that some dinosaurs may have also seen color.
