plural of "Archaeopteryx"

Binder, qui vitam gustat, nos hortatur ut videamus illum
Archaeopteryx gregem.  Malo dicere "Ecce grex Archaeopterygum!"
(sive "Archaeopterygum lithographicarum").

My suggestion of "Archaeopteryges" was offered tongue-in-cheek;
I have no problem with "Archaeopteryxes" or "Archaeopteryx"
as plural forms.
