Re:tertiary footprints



  Several times John Schneiderman has referred to alleged hadrosaur 
footprints in the Paleocene of Colorado.  The site he is referring to is 
the Raton Basin on the Colorado-New Mexico border.  However, the 
footprints (and those of T. rex based on size and morphology) are about 
1 meter below the irdium zone as described by Izett, et al.  Thus, the 
footprints do not correlate to above the Montana Z-coal.  The only 
footprints above the irdium at Raton, are crow-sized bird tracks.
