  Regarding Richard Cowen preferring that announcement that a manuscript 
on Dryptosaurus should not have been mentioned here, the note was not 
meant for him.  As I said, it was for "theropod fans".  The manuscript 
was originally started in 1986 and has taken until this month to finally 
get submitted.  The announcement was to satisfy all those numerous 
inquiries that we authors continue to receive about the status of the 
paper.  Announcing it here was the fastest method to get the word out to 
as many people who would be interested.
