Hey, I'm asking nicely. Try to know more about what you take a stance
against. For example, fetching IS a trait in wolves. It shows pack behavior
and dominance. Less dominant wolves will bring things to their pack leader
in displays of submission. Dogs, whose wolf-instincts have been redirected
BUT NOT ELIMINATED by man, will fetch to their pack leader (the human
owner/stick thrower).
Before you make an all-inclusive statement, such as this one, try to find
out if it has any backing. You are speaking to a group of people who make
finding out facts out of very difficult subjects (like using a feather
imprint in stone to tell if Archeopteryx could fly as well as a pigeon or as
badly as a domestic turkey) and these people will nit-pick such statements
apart. And usually are correct. You will feel better and we will feel
better if the antagonism that all-inclusive statements generate is better
phrased.
I do want to hear what you have to say, but please don't aggravate people
unnecessarily. Thanks for trying.
