Return of the ectotherms!
Regarding the recent mentions of turbinates, a good source to get up to
speed on the subject is W J Hillenius (1994). Turbinates in therapsids:

I believe Hillenius is working on the dinosaur problem with John Ruben, who
questioned whether Archaeopteryx was endothermic a couple of years ago..
Does anyone know whether Archaeopteryx has turbinates (turbinals?)?
