Well, as nothing much has been said on this, I will comment.

I think the best popularly accessible reconstructions are in
Greg Paul's book on "Predatory Dinosaurs".

In short, Oviraptor had a "truncated" beak, that *looks* like
it is broken off, but it isn't.


Some oviraptorids (for instance Ingenia) have crests, others may not.
