the type of Nanotyrannus lancensis

[I've lost the original posting last night, but here's pretty much what was
said]

Someone on the net commented that the type of Nanotyrannus lancensis was
found in association with a Tyrannosaurus rex.  Actually, the specimen they
were referring to was tentatively referred to (at that time) Albertosaurus
lancensis by Molnar, but has since been made the type of Albertosaurus
megagracilis by Greg Paul.

Olshevsky will be giving megagracilis a new generic name, but Greg Paul now
considers that material to be a subadult T. rex.

The true type of Nanotyrannus lancensis is an isolated skull which was not
found in association with any other tyrannosaurid material.
