RE: T-rex full scale replica.
There is a full scale T.rex at the Children's Museum in Indianapolis. It is
mounted just outside the main entrance to the museum. I think it was done by
Brian Rush(I'm not sure of this and my copy of the Horner T.rex book is at
home. The Museum people may be able to help you.

You might want to talk to someone at the New Mexico Museum of Natural
History here in Albuquerque (phone# 505-841-8837). They have a full-scale
(I think) Albertosaurus in front of the museum made of brass or bronze.
There is at least one member of the museum that is on the dinosaur list
that I have seen post in the past, but I don't know if they still belong to
the list....

I have plans to construct a replica of T-rex for public viewing in a Desert
town near Las vegas called Pahrump. Questions:
Where would I obtain the most accurate dimensions for a muture adult ?
Skin color, texture etc..........
Has any speculation been made of the sound/s a reptile of this size could
have produced ?
Any suggestions for construction materials, the T-rex will be exposed to
summer heat up to about 115 degrees, winter cold of about 10 degrees and
winds that reach 80 + MPH. It also will be unprotected from "large game
hunters" and should be easy to patch, I'm expecting silly vandalism like
that.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.
