The Geology Department of the University of Wyoming has a life 
sized statue of a T. Rex. Made of hand hammered copper plates
by Dr. S. H. Knight and is currently celebrating its 30th
anniversary. (They are selling pewter pins of a T. Rex skull
made by Montana dinosaur artist Michael Holland in commemoration
of the event.)

Haven't seen a mention of this come my way yet. If it has, I missed
it and am sorry for the repost.
